SR2 was still trying to hold some GTA-clone tendencies, and played like a straight driving/shooting sandbox, but with some lowbrow humor that gave the series its charm. SR4 is, in my opinion, the best blend of the second and third game. The game's over a decade old and really needs some commitment to the previous games, but I like saying that anyway. Saints Row IV, however, was available to download and play like the lord intended, so I gave it a re-spin. Initially, I tried Saints Row 2, but for some reason, the quality of the game on PS5's game streaming thing brought it down to do I look like I know what a JPEG is quality and I stopped after a level. I was bored and looking for a sandbox-y game to play, back before Ubisoft boiled it down to a formula and I lost my taste for them.
